She was predeceased by: her parents, John Boesiger and Valora Boesiger (Dolly); her brother John Boesiger; her brother-in-law John "Woody" Woodruff; and her daughter-in-law Patricia DeBruin.

She is survived by: her husband Carl Peter DeBruin; her sisters, Annie Lou Schooley and Barbara Woodruff; her grandchildren, Beth, Annie, Megan, Caitlin, Courtney, Derek, Brett, Garrett, Natalie, Sarah, Luke, Dallas, Grant, Jed, Hannah, Claire, Teddy, Simon, Henry, Belle and Kali; and her sister-in-law Louise Boesiger. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
