She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar A. Ward and Lucille M. Ward (Dennis); her husband Robert Leroy Ely; her daughter Sharon Ely; and her sisters, Virginia Abbott and Marilyn Yoli.

She is survived by: her children, David Ely (Tammy), Elisabeth Davis (John), Joann Redman (Dennis) and Paula Bortolotto (Thomas). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request masses be given in honor of Lois.
