He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Weaver and Hazel Weaver (Arledge); and his siblings, Ruth, Betty, Doris, Patty, Lynn, Dolly, Dick, Bob and Jim Weaver.

He is survived by: his wife Alice Weaver (Moore); his children, Brenda Walker (Bill), Ernest Weaver (Diana) and Rodney Weaver; his grandchildren, BillieAnn, Buster Walker (Dawn) and Lacie Emerine (Micah); his great grandchildren, Ella, Josi, Sam Capretta, Sy Royster and Emmitt Leon Walker; and his sister Janet Hayes.
