He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Raterman; his children, Richard and Charlene Raterman; his siblings, Rosemary Raterman, Ellen Raterman (Buelow) and Tom; his sister-in-law Lena Raterman; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Mason, Josie, Warren of Jonah, CJ, Clay and Taylor; and his siblings, Virginia (Seewer) and Robert Raterman.
In lieu of flowers John has requested that donations be made to St. Jude's or the VFW.
