He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Pontious and Laura Pontious. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Wyatt Pontious, Brittany Conkel (Brandon), Tabi Pontious and Josh Moran (Mary); and his great great grandchildren, Bryson, Bowen, Baylor and Mitchell.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Pickaway County Fair.
