He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hewitt and Geraldine Hewitt (Garrett); and his brother Robert Hewitt. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Hewitt (Crull); his sons, Greg Hewitt and Doug Hewitt (Dawn); his grandchildren, Sam, Alexa and Aliese; his niece Becky Canter; and his nephews, Bob Crull and Tim Crull.
