He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Henson and Mary Houch Ekers; his stepfather Okey Ekers; his former wife Dolores Cunningham Henson; his half-brother Earl Henson; and his stepgrandson Phillip McGill.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Shappard Henson; his half-sister Judy O'Neill; his children, Ray Henson (LaBrenda), Jane Cook (Doug) and Mark Henson (Elyse); his stepchildren, Robert Cunningham (Gail) and Colleen Redfern (Rick); his grandchildren, Steven, Karen Cook, Josephine Redfern, Carl Cunningham, Alex Ferrell, Jacob, Caleb, Isaac Redfern, Belinda McGill, Shawn and Shane Hegarty; his friend Tony Richardson; and also Joe McDevitt. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
