He is survived by: his children, Cherrell Byrd, LaShawn Byrd, Jerome Byrd (Bettina) and Antwan Byrd; and his siblings, Mattie L. Barnes, Melvin Barnes and Robert Barnes (JoAnna). He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
