She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hedges and Frita Hedges (Notestone); her children, Esther Geneva VanGundy and Rob VanGundy; her husbands, John VanGundy and Dick Giffin; her grandchildren, Randy "Tubs" VanGundy II, Meranda VanGundy and Joseph Brown; her great grandchild Arianna Williams-Busa; and her daughter-in-law Barb VanGundy.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Farleigh; her sister Martha Shepard (Dan); her sons, Rick VanGundy (Glena) of Adelphi, Randy VanGundy (Tonya) of Circleville and Raymond VanGundy (Pam) of Ashville; her daughter-in-law Kim VanGundy of Circleville; her children, Shonta Farleigh of Minnesota, Martha Farleigh of Minnesota and Ronald Farleigh II of Lancaster; her pet Princess; and her friend Miss Evelyn Walton of Circleville. She is also survived by 47 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wellman Funeral Home (1455 N Court St, Circleville, OH 43113). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Olive Cemetery.
