It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Lillian Coates of Circleville, Ohio, born in Louisa, Kentucky, who passed away on August 11, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Carter and Golda Inez Carter (Crabtree); her husband Donald E. Coates; her children, Mike Coates and Debbie Neal; and her siblings, Eddie Carter, Delores Fetherolf (Bob), Virginia Carol Patterson (Dale), Eugene Carter and Mildred Jewel Carter.
She is survived by: her son Donald E. Coates Jr. of Pomeroy; her son-in-law Jim Neal of Circleville; her grandson Casey Booth (Jennifer) of Circleville; her great grandchildren, Austin and Lane Booth; her sister-in-law Betty Carter of Kingston; and her close friend Mary Kay Thompson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and numerous other special family members and friends.
