He is survived by: his children, Amy Winston (Kevin) of Westerville, OH and David A. (Dewi) of Irvine, CA; his stepson Larry Davis (Wendy) of Laurelville, OH; his grandchildren, Kourtney Cofield (Cameron), Kyle Winston, Ryan Butterbaugh, Aaron Butterbaugh, Makayla and Savanna Davis; his great grandchild Kai Lena Cofield; his siblings, Cathy Hines (William) of Chillicothe, OH and Dale Butterbaugh (Trisha) of Winter Garden, FL; his siblings-in-law, Ray Conrad (Peggy), Patty Surratt and Betty Hopkins; his mother-in-law Joan Conrad; his uncle Gene Bell (Mary) of Friendly, WV; and his pets, Toby and Tiny. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
