He was predeceased by: his father Delbert Conkel; and his brother Phillip. He is survived by: his wife Anita Conkel (Evans); his children, Stephen Conkel (Martha), James Conkel (Stephanie) and Sarah Schooley (Richard); his grandchildren, Elias Conkel (Rachel), Abigail Brown (Tobias), Caleb, Luke, Isaac and Jude Conkel; his sons, Samuel, Jonathan and Thaddeus Schooley; his great grandchildren, Lee Conkel, Micah and Judah Brown; and his sister Betty Rogers (Conkel). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
