He is survived by: his wife Vickie Fanska (Hardwick); his children, Robert Martin Fanska, David Charles Fanska (Heather Marie), Allison Ann Bashore (Matthew) and Rebecca Marie Smith (Nathan); his grandchildren, Mason Kristopher Bashore, Haley Jo Smith, Elaine Lucille Fanska and Wesley Charles Bashore; and his siblings, Mary Ann Fanska, Janet Fanska, John Fanska (Vicki), Nancy Pifer (Tim), Bill Fanska and Elizabeth Krispin.
