“I took an undergraduate research course at the University of Cincinnati from Professor Jergens. She did a wonderful job of teaching the steps of writing a research paper. She was very kind and encouraging to me and suggested that I go to graduate school which I did. She wrote one of my Faculty Recommendations for me to be admitted to graduate school. She was influential in my academic life, and I will always remember her. Rest in peace.”
