It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vernon R. Tinsley (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bertie Tinsley; his children, David Tinsley (Lisa), Maria Hoy (Greg) and Scott Colegate (Karla); his grandchildren, Amanda (Glenn), Casey, Jordan, Dylan, Mackenzie, Haley, Kelsey and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Emmett, Nolan, Aria and Azariah; and his former wife Peggy (Peggy).
He is survived by: his siblings, Gale Tinsley (Nina) and Grace Miller (late John); and his friend Bertie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Ferry Church of Christ (380 Greenwell Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45238). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Vernon's honor.
