He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Hinssen; his parents, Joseph Hinssen and Mary Hinssen; his children, Thomas Hinssen (Katie) and Jayne Sora (James); and his grandchildren, Gabrielle (Tyler), Matthew Sora, Robert Hinssen and William Hinssen.

Donations may be made in honor of Thomas to Queen City Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
