She was predeceased by : her parents, Rosetta Eatmond and Walter Reynolds; her son Aaron Hopkins Jr.; her husband Michael Tarrance Sr.; her son Michael Tarrance III; her siblings, Andre Harris Jr., Shawn Harris, Monica Harris (DeMarco McDonald) and Pecola Harris (Kendrick Combs); and her grandchildren, Kizeria, Zyaira and Zayden.
