He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemuel James Butts and Eleanor Maude Butts; and his siblings, Dale Butts, Terry Butts and Paula Guierra.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Marie West; his son Steven Thomas Butts of Midland, TX; his brother Wayne Butts of Cuba, NY; and his uncle Fred Ramsey of Cuba, NY.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
