Shirley Retzler Obituary
We bid farewell to Shirley Retzler in Cincinnati, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 5, 2025 at the age of 92. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Philhower and Ella Mae Philhower; her husband Paul Jacob Retzler; her siblings, Raymond (Mary), Russell, Jack, Steven (Aleen) and Dorothy Strunk; and her son-in-law Daniel Mason.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Joseph Retzler, Victoria Ann Aicholtz (John) and Jacqueline Marie Mason (Daniel); her siblings, Carol Taylor (Robert) and Charles Philhower (Bonna); and her grandchildren, Jacob, Abe, Beth, Dustin, Ben, Hannah, Paige, John, Jenny, Kate, Joseph, Henry, Caroline, Kearie, Calvin, Avee, Dorothy, Ellen, Paul, Mabel, George, Victor and Clara. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calendar St. Veronica Catholic Church (4473 Mt Carmel Tobasco Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45244). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Veronica Church or Hospice of Cincinnati.
