He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Merritt and Elisabeth M. Merritt. He is survived by: his brothers, John T. Merritt (Margie), James A. Merritt (Melissa), Ernest W. Merritt (Betty), Michael H. Merritt (Gail) and George A. Merritt (Patsy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Spring Grove Funeral Homes- Reading (8633 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45215). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Peter & Paul Cemetery (9412 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45215).
