He was predeceased by: his parents, Geneva L. Schmidt and Ralph G. Meyer; and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his wife Fran Hendrick; his children, Christine Bohte (Joe), Gregory, Lauren Meyer-Herr (Joe) and Jocelyn (Brian); his grandchildren, Corine Meyer Freund (Neal), Bradley (Janet), Stephanie Blazei (Nick), Zak Bohte and Brian Petranech; and his brother Tom. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Caracole, Cincinnati Symphony, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, the Free Store, or Logan's Heart and Smiles (Wisconsin) would be greatly appreciated.
