He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Long and Anna M. Long. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his sons, Ralph, Jr (Liz) of Oakland, CA, Mark John (Joan) of Staten Island, NY and Matthew (Claire) of Cincinnati; and his brothers, Bernard of Connecticut, Charles and Gerald of Florida.
