Proffitt (Cincinnati, Ohio), born in Speedwell, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence and Leotta (Lumpkin); and his sister Martha Robertson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Proffitt (Lewis); his children, Joni Proffitt, Jeff Proffitt (Teresa) and Susan Meiser (late Steve); his grandchildren, Jessica Lusk (Brad), Kelly Klosterman (Eric), Misty Gaines, Brandy Ferguson, Morgan Proffitt, Jeremy Meiser, Ellie Meiser and Kate Meiser; his great grandchildren, Noah Lusk, Jacob Lusk, Lillian Lusk, Zayn Thobe, Autumn Klosterman, Quinten Thobe, Natalie Thobe, Ian Sherman, India Sherman and Cohen Thompson; and his great great grandchild Keimoni Sherman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home (10211 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Rest Haven Memorial Park (10209 Plainfield Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45241). A reception was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carmel Baptist Church (8645 Kenwood Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45242).
