He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rosemary Dietz; his daughters, Kristine Dietz, Terri Popovitz (Mark), Tanya Walker (Todd) and Kimberly Dirr (Matt); his grandchildren, Samantha, Sabrina, Shane Dietz, Sam, Noah Popovitz, Ashley, Haley Walker, Jaxson and Jacob Dirr; his great grandchild Cameron Dietz; and his siblings, Joyce Dietz and Wayne Dietz (Bobbie).
