He was predeceased by: his sister Coleen Mahoney; and his parents, Charles Mahoney-Davis and Patricia Mahoney-Davis. He is survived by: his wife Brenda A. Mahoney; his daughter Michelle A. Mahoney; and his siblings, Dennis Mahoney (late Kim), Maureen Brinson (Chet) and Jody Fariello (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
