The memory of Lanora C. Schroder (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on April 5, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sr. Sterwerf and Mary Sterwerf; and her siblings, Esther Smith (Charlie), Robert Sterwerf (Eleanor), Norbert Sterwerf (Del), Mae Kasper (Ted), Al Sterwerf (Mary Ann) and Frank Jr. Sterwerf (Diane).
She is survived by: her husband Earl Schroder; her daughters, Mildred Stoeckle (Deacon Bob), Carol Egbert (Tim) and Betty Henggeler (Jay); and her grandchildren, Stacey Frommer (Scott), Nathan Egbert, Rob Stoeckle (Beth), Kelly Worley (Todd), Sara Schoenecker (Alex) and Tony Stoeckle. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (5361 Dry Ridge Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45252). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Arlington Memorial Gardens (2145 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, a place that was dear to Lanora's heart.
