She was predeceased by: her husband William Paul Sample; and her brother James R. Gerhardstein. She is survived by: her brothers, Michael Gerhardstein (Margaret), Mark Gerhardstein (Patricia May), Alphonse Gerhardstein (Mimi Gingold) and Jeffrey Gerhardstein; and her nieces and nephews, Ross Gerhardstein, Angela May, Brian Gerhardstein, David Gerhardstein, Max Gerhardstein, Paula Gerhardstein, Benjamin Gerhardstein, Adam Gerhardstein, Jessica Gingold, Praia, Kira, Oliver and Justine.
