It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Blackmon (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Kathleen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Kathleen. Though Kathleen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband George Blackmon; her parents, Stanley Fischer and Lillian Fischer; and her sisters, Rose Fischer Humbert and Gloria Fischer Youtz.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Fischer Summee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Vorhis & Ryan Funeral Home- Springdale (11365 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246).
