June Hudson Turner Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of June Hudson Turner in Cincinnati, Ohio, born in Flint, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her former husband Lawrence Joseph Turner Jr.; and her mother Aurelia James Hudson. She is survived by: her husband Larry; her daughter Donna T. DeCosta, MD; her grandsons, Frank A. DeCosta IV and Wesley L. DeCosta; and her siblings, Donald Ameche Hudson (Lucia Daniels Hudson) and Aurelia Hudson Simmons. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Reese & Sons Mortuary (1922 Forest Dr, Annapolis, MD 21401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Lakemont Memorial Gardens (900 W Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD 21035).
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS~ In honor of June's dedication to education, contributions can be made to the Central State University (CSU) General Scholarship Fund, which supports the alma mater of her late husband.
