He is survived by : his parents, Donald Hayward and Jacqueline Hayward; his daughters, Danyelle Burger (Jesse) and Demee Hayward; his close friend Carol McGee; his grandchildren, Keegan, Paisleigh and Paxton; his siblings, Denise, Jan Hayward and Shawn Schroeder (Cari); and his pet Axle.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at 3636 Parnell Avenue Fort, Wayne, Indiana.

Memorials may be made to the Honors Flight of NE Indiana or Shepherds House.
