John Harold Rodencal Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Harold Rodencal (Cincinnati, Ohio), who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis William and Agnes Erna Rodencal; his wife Alice Jeanette Haskell of Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church; his son Lee Frederic; and his brothers, Edward Louis and Louis Merle.
He is survived by: his children, Larry (Sandra) of Cincinnati, OH, Lynne Hubbard (Cecil) of New Philadelphia, OH and Lance (Rhonda) of Weatherford, TX; and his sister-in-law Eileen Rodencal (Bottolfson) of Plano, TX. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Messiah Lutheran Church (10416 Bossi Ln, Cincinnati, OH 45218). A burial will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to the staff at Maple Knoll Village. Checks payable to Maple Knoll Communities Foundation (memo: J Rodencal-MKV Employee Christmas Fund) and sent to 11100 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, OH 45246.
