We bid farewell to John Edwin Sim Jr. (Cincinnati, Ohio), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 28, 2025 at the age of 74. John Edwin touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen; his sons, Rabbi Caroline Sim and Alec Sim; his siblings, Valerie Scheffler, Susan Raley, Mary Jane Paterniti and Joe Sim; and his parents, Jack (Valeria Sim) and John.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wise Center (8329 Ridge Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45236). A memorial service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Isaac M. Wise Temple (8329 Ridge Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45236). A shiva was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 and on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the SIM Residence.
