She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry L. Hendy and Margaret Hendy; and her brothers, Gerard "Jerry" Hendy and Paul Hendy (Catherine). She is survived by: her siblings, Harry C. Hendy (Kathleen), Daniel Hendy (Teresa), Carole Polychroniou (Constantine), Patricia Bowling (David) and Jeffrey "Phillip" Hendy (Carla); and her nieces and nephews, Jessica, Bridget (Andy), Lauren (Sam), Dylan (Kara), Daniel (Amy), Anne, Amanda, Georgia (Matt), Jioanna (Patrick), David (Elizabeth), Patricia Pearl (Zachary), Dustin (Krista), Courtney, Beckett, Henry, Reilly, Claire, Lena (Jacob), Lukas, Lola, Sylvia, Camilla, Alexandra, Christina, Isabella, Ephigenia of Putti's Tyler, Chase, Conor, Cora and Everett Phillip.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Visitation Church (3172 South Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45248). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the American Legion Charities, 700 N. Pennsylvania St. P.O. Box 1055 Indianapolis, IN 46206 OR you may have a mass said in memory of Joanne at Old St. Mary's Church.
