He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Hargis and Myrtle Hargis; and his wife Geneva Hargis. He is survived by: his children, Vicki Snider (Joseph) and Billy Hargis (Cindy); his grandchildren, Steven, Bradley and Kristen; his great grandchildren, Caden, Lincoln, Kenna, Brylee and Audrey; and his sibling Russell Hargis.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Crosspointe Baptist Church (4596 Bells Ln, Cincinnati, OH 45244). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Graceland Memorial Gardens (5989 Deerfield Rd, Milford, OH 45150).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jewell's honor may be made to the Crosspointe Baptist Church Legacy Fund.
