It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean McGovern in Cincinnati, Ohio, born in Brown County, Ohio, who passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James McGovern; her parents, Edward Fritz and Isabel Fritz; and her son-in-law Larry Davis. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Richer, Adron Krekeler (Becky), Patricia Davis and Paul Krekeler; her grandchildren, Carolyn DeAngelis, Jennifer Simpson (Jamie), Nathan Krekeler (Rhiannon), Brandon Krekeler (Rachel), Erika Krekeler, Natalie Krekeler and Nolan Krekeler; her great grandchildren, Ryan DeAngelis, Jalyn Simpson and London Krekeler; and her brother Ralph Fritz.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Spring Grove Funeral Homes (4389 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Spring Grove Cemetery (4521 Spring Grove Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45232).
