She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmert Bode and Catherine Bode; her husband Paul E. Schmitz; and her brother-in-law Bill Schmitz (Shirley). She is survived by: her children, Jane Rottmueller (Dan), Karen Vogel (Jeff), Paul Schmitz (late Edie), Michelle Ketterman (Dale) and Kathy Hicks (Jay); and her siblings-in-law, Annie Stark (late Tom), Allen Boug Schmitz (late Janet), Sylvia Schmitz (late Bob), Joe Schmitz (Mary Jo), Maggie Schwartz (Ray), Gus, Alice Ittner (John) and Tom Schmitz.
