It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Seldon Rankin Jr. of Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Rankin (Bonnie), Jodi Griffith (Michael "Mike") and Robyn Helm (Daniel "Dan"); his grandchildren, Jennifer Bickers (Randy), Jessica Rankin, Kelsie Rankin, Danielle Gum (Cody), Laura Boyce (Justin), Breann Krier (Cheyenne), Adam Krier (Amber), Michael Griffith (Lindsey), Josh Griffith, Preston Helm (Apryl) and Olivia Helm; and his sisters, Marylou Simons (David) and Debbie Noble (Thomas "Tommy"). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jackman Hensley Funeral Home (215 E Broadway St, Harrison, OH 45030). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
