He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bruckmann and Alice Bruckmann; and his son James "Jamie" Purcell Bruckmann Jr. (Carol Anne). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Bryson, Colleen, Kyle, Evelyn Fitzgerald, Caitlyn, Elijah, Robbie, Samantha and Aurora Bruckmann; his wife Carolyn; and his daughter Alice Bruckmann Fitzgerald (Ken).
