Jacob Paul Simon Obituary
Jacob P. (Jack) Simon, Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2022 at the age of 79 leaving his beloved wife Nancy Simon (nee Bartlow) of 56 years. Devoted father of Rick (Debbie) Simon, and Kimberly (Casey) Linnig. Loving grandfather to Austin Simon, Kaitlyn Linnig, Chloe Linnig, and Kylie Linnig. Step-Grandfather to Kayla Rasnick.
Jack was an avid outdoorsman enjoying biking, kayaking, camping, and hiking along with being a dedicated volunteer throughout his life. Jack had over 50 years in Boy Scouts earning many awards including the Silver Beaver, Bronze Pelican, St. George Award, Order of the Arrow Vigil Member and past Lodge Advisor. Jack also volunteered at Spring Grove Cemetery giving Civil War Tours, The Cincinnati Museum Center, The Cincinnati Zoo and Mercy West Hospital.
A private inurnment for immediate family members only will be held at a later date.
