He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Jean Miller-Stoneburner; his parents, Rex Stoneburner and Dorothy Stoneburner; and his brothers, Gerold Stoneburner and William Stoneburner.

He is survived by: his sons, Randall Stoneburner and Mark Stoneburner; and his sister Jean Marie Hellus. He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
