He is survived by: his children, Brian Benedict (Lanita), Adam Benedict (Rhonda), Kevin Benedict (Danielle), Eric Benedict, David Benedict and Ann Benedict; his grandchildren, Ashley, Gabrielle, Christina, Natalie, Delaney, Cooper and Cameron; and his siblings, Susan Hammond (Donald) and John Benedict.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Frederick Funeral Home (2553 Banning Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45239). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
