Sweeney, Mary "Gail" (née Burman), devoted wife for 41 years of Brian Sweeney, loving mother of Shannon (Noah) Brauer, Colleen (Franco) DelZotti, Seán (Megan) Sweeney, Patrick and Maura Sweeney, and the late Thaddeus and Seamus Sweeney. Cherished Mamie/Ompa of Teaghan, Alaina, Rowan, and Gwen Brauer, Davan Buschmiller, Sorcha and Lochlan Sweeney.
Dear sister of the late Linda (Ken living) Boehm, Tim (Julie) Burman, and the late Judy Burman. Preceded in death by her parents Patricia F. (née McLaughlin) and Thad Burman. Cherished dog mom of Duffy, Murphy, and JimBob. Died March 4th at the age of 62. Visitation Friday, March 8th, at Meyer & Geiser Funeral Home 4989 Glenway Ave. Cincinnati OH 45238, from 5 PM-7 PM.
The funeral mass will be held at 10 AM at St. Lawrence Catholic Church 3680 Warsaw Ave. Cincinnati OH 45205. In lieu of flowers, send donations in Gail Sweeney's name to: St. Anthony Shrine 5000 Colerain Ave. Cincinnati OH 45223. She was passionate about her Irish heritage, known for her support of local high schools Elder and Mother of Mercy, and avid Beatles fan.
She will be remembered for her epic Halloween parties and her motto, "cram it sideways".
