With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn G. Rattermann (Cincinnati, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Paul L. Rattermann; her children, Mary Lynn Knochelman (Joe) and Paul Rattermann (Dena); her grandchildren, Matthew Knochelman (Kiersten), Melinda Eckerle (Collin), Christopher Knochelman (Rebecca), Katrina Rattermann (Evan), Kristof Rattermann, Kara Rebennack (Chad), Stephanie Albanese (A. J.) and Megan Archdeacon (Ajay); her great grandchildren, Gabriella Rose, Madison Lynn, Josephine Ruth Knochelman and Marietta Eve Eckerle; and her sister Irene Burden.

“My Mom, Ruth Thomas, and Evelyn were friends for approx 75 years. They went to high school together and worked as candy stripers at Christ Hospital after school. Then they both ventured into Deaconess Nurses training a year apart. Fast forward to recent times and they were both residents at West Park. Evelyn will be missed by many and I'm grateful for the friendship she had with my Mom. Condolences to the family!”
