He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Patty" Rivera; his children, Dr. Ed Rivera (Elizabeth), Tricia Hoffmann (Mark), Michael Rivera (Jodi), Ann Hug (Mike) and Dr. Katie Litt (Russ); his grandchildren, Logan, Alex, Gabe, Spencer, Marissa, Madison Rivera, Julia, Nicholas, Abby Hoffmann, Chase, Layne, Miles Rivera, Benjamin, Jacob Hug, Donovan, Emma and Olivia Litt; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Schuster (Barry), Paula Heinecke (Bob), Lynn Yockey (Denny) and Beth Schoenlaub (Jim); his nieces and nephews, Jose, Mickey, Aida, Paul, Dawn, Danielle, Tracy, Rob, Scott, Kari, Todd, Renee, Victor, Matthew, Sarah, Elizabeth and Emily; and his pet Leroy.
