He is survived by: his wife Carol Lee Samples; his children, David Samples (Tami), Chris Samples and Mary Peveler (Ron); his grandchildren, Matthew Samples, Jacob Samples and Braydon Peveler; his brother Tom Samples (Debbie); and his pets, Costello, Middie and Pepper.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Veronica Catholic Church (4473 Mt Carmel Tobasco Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45244). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
