He was predeceased by: his cousin Henry'Boes' Boesing (Sannie); and his parents, Joseph R. Cavanaugh and Loretta Cavanaugh. He is survived by: his wife Paula J. Cavanaugh; his children, Joseph P. Cavanaugh (Becky) of Cincinnati, Julie M. Pifer (Drew) of Cincinnati and Patrick W. Cavanaugh (Christine) of Monroe, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Gramps, Sydney, Conner, Molly and Andrew; and his cousins, Mary Anne Boyd (late David J.) of Cincinnati, Kate Gaunt (Jim) of Cincinnati, Ed Boesing (Gail) of Cincinnati, Judy Mellott (late Don) of Cincinnati and Ann Foley (Jim) of Naples.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Antoninus Catholic Church (1500 Linneman Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45238). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
If desired memorials may be made to the St. Antoninus St. Vincent de Paul Society Conference, St. Antoninus Church or to the charity of the donor's choice.
