With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Delia Vollette Wickham of Cincinnati, Ohio, born in Piqua, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 88. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Delia Vollette had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Delia Vollette may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her former husband John F. Vollette III; her husband David W. Wickham; and her daughter Julia Vollette Duerksen. She is survived by: her children, Anne Vollette Fischer (Matt) and Douglas Vollette (Susan); and her stepchildren, Catherine Fremont, Francis Lee and Ann Wickham. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming (225 Wyoming Ave, Wyoming, OH 45215).
