He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Denecke and Ruth Denecke (Kueffner); and his brother-in-law Jim Walton. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Steward (Mike) and Caroline Denecke; his granddaughter Genevieve Steward; his siblings, Daryl Ann Walton (late Jim) and Donald Bernard Denecke (Diane); his nieces and nephews, Allison Howard (John) and Kristin Curto (Mike); his great-nephew Luke; and his great-nieces, Samantha Howard and Madelyn Curto.
