He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Doctrow and Hannah Levine Doctrow; and his siblings, Jean Doctrow, Kenny Doctrow of Doc's Music Shop and Nathan Doctrow.
He is survived by: his significant other Janis Weisenberg; his children, Mindy Doctrow Heller, Jeff Doctrow (Robbie Sue), Matt Doctrow (Amy), Pam Doctrow Gould and Rob Doctrow (Lisa); his grandchildren, Rachel Heller (Mike), Stephanie Silver (Andrew), Dani Dickinson (Todd), Jamie Mudd (Brandon), Eli Gould (Dana), Hannah Doleman (Kameron), Ben Gould, Ally Doctrow, Baily Doctrow, Jacob Doctrow, Daniel Doctrow and Kayla Doctrow; and his great grandchildren, Luna, Talia, Avery, Miles and Leah.
A burial was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Lexington Cemetery (833 W Main St, Lexington, KY 40508). Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Temple Adath Israel (124 N Ashland Ave, Lexington, KY 40502). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
