She was predeceased by: her parents, Lamar Shelton and Victoria Jones Shelton; and her siblings, Lamar Shelton Jr. and Cathryn Shelton. She is survived by: her sons, Andre Deyrick of Nashville, Tennessee and James Christopher (DeMika) of Atlanta, Georgia; her significant other Earl Smith; her daughter-in-law Marlene of Jackson, Tennessee; her siblings, Faye of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ronnie (Dolly) of Dalzell, Michael (Brenda) of Apache Junction, Arizona and Delton of Tampa, Florida; her grandchildren, Sharmar of James, II., Andre Jr., Candace, J'onae and JaMaya; her nephew Hanson; her nieces, Diedra, Takisha, Victoria and Janessa; her cousins, Beverly and Carolina; and her close friends, Connie, Johnnie Mae, Angela and Laura. She is also survived by cousins, family, and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Walnut Hills Cemetery (3117 Victory Pkwy, Cincinnati, OH 45206).
